A big thanks to all of you who returned your surveys and wrote to our County Commissioners regarding the Additional Dwelling Units. With only three exceptions, the consensus was that they would not be a welcome addition to our neighborhood and that we hope that we will be exempted as an historical neighborhood with existing rules and regulations that are hard enough to enforce as is.
Our membership remains strong and although we have had a multitude of homes sell in the first half of the year, most of the new buyers are coming on board as members of our association.
Our social committee has been hard at work coming up with new events and the beautification committee continues to spruce up our neighborhood with their green thumbs and extra funds contributed by our Angel Members.
We would like to wish you a safe, happy, and healthy 4th of July and that you spend it doing something you enjoy. It commemorates the Declaration of Independence of the United States on July 4, 1776. The Continental Congress declared that the thirteen American colonies were no longer subject to the monarch of Britain and were now united, free, and independent states.
